M83 is an electronic/dream pop act by French musician Anthony Gonzalez. Their overall sound is unique and often "dreamy" (dream pop) and they experiment with a lot of different sounds on their albums.

Of their album art, I like Dead Cities, Before the Dawn Heals Us, and Saturdays = Youth the most. Saturdays = Youth I feel really captures the vibe of the teenage years that the band used as the theme for the album.

Have you guys heard of M83? What do you think?

  1. Favorite cover: Before the Dawn Heals Us, I just love night time city shots. In fact my current desktop wallpaper looks very similar to it.

Favorite album: Saturdays = Youth, Couleurs is epic and Graveyard Girl reminds me of someone i used to know.

  3. I KNOW your not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but based on these covers I would not buy there music. It looks like CDs my stoner friend would have... Just MHO ;)
